Symbio, an established leader in providing software engineering services & solutions in the automotive industry, is proud to announce the support of Symbio Connected Car (SCC) on STMicroelectronics’ recently announced Accordo 5 family of automotive processors running Linux OS.
SCC brings Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Baidu CarLife technologies to STMicroelectronics’ Accordo 5 automotive processors. SCC is designed from the ground up to be portable and to use system resources efficiently. CPU and memory consumption are highly optimized, which enable the usage within ultra low-cost, resource limited HW platforms. To reduce integration cost and time to market, all supported technologies are available within single Application Programming Interface (API), SCC Unified API.
A high-performance yet affordable solution for Automotive Display Audio and AVN (Audio/Video/Navigation) market, SCC based on STMicroelectronics’ newest automotive processors is available now and enables quick market entry for OEM and TIER1 companies willing to expand Connected Car services to mass market cars.
“We are proud to deliver to the market a unique Infotainment solution based on STMicroelectronics’ Accordo 5 automotive processors, which in combination with Linux OS and our SCC solution enable quick time to market for the customers. This empowers the user interface consumers are used to and love. Together we are able to bring the compelling solution to the market,” Brian Crowley, Symbio CEO
