Smartphone downloads are expected to peak at just below seven billion.
“We are moving into a new world of digital convergence, with smart connected devices – but where platforms aren’t the focal point they used to be,” said Jacob Hsu, CEO of Symbio. “Because of the proliferation of platforms, what matters most is creating the best user experience and working backwards from that – and finding the right platform to deliver that experience.”
The Global Mobile Internet Conference 2010 is designed specifically for entrepreneurs, executives and influencers to understand and capitalize on the growing opportunities in mobile Internet. Around 1,000 industry leaders from Asia, Europe and North America will convene in Beijing to compare and trade best practices across borders, especially between the East and West.
