Qing Lu
Chief Financial Officer
Qing Lu is the chief financial officer (CFO) of Symbio. He brings nearly 20 years of private and public technology company experience to Symbio, and is responsible for Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, HR, IT, and Investor Relationship functions.
Lu was most recently CFO for Seven Networks, a private mobile software and Saas company in Silicon Valley where he helped grow the company by more than doubling its sales in his 3 year tenure, and earlier for Litepoint, a private wireless system company in Silicon Valley where he built up the financial architecture to enable the company to achieve a large scale. The company was later on acquired by Teradyne for $590M.
Additionally, Lu worked as the VP of corporate finance and corporate controller at PortalPlayer (NASD:PLAY), a fabless semiconductor company in Silicon Valley where he managed all finance, accounting, HR and Admin functions through its IPO in 2004. He also played a key role in its successful acquisition for $370M by nVidia in 2007. Prior to this, he was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and started his career in Peking University Founder Group in Asia.
Lu holds a master's degree in accounting from the University of Southern California, an MBA in Finance from Sino-Europe Institute of Management, and a BSc. in computer science from Northern Jiaotong University.
